We make sound art within life itself, on the spot, where things happen, little by little we negotiate micro-encounters with local people, passers-by, workers. A shared physical and aural experience inside the soundscape of a Building-world, a singular understanding of the place.
Building-worlds have their public spaces, lakes, oases, panoramic views, escapes, interstices and blurry areas, underbellies and black holes… Their meeting places, secrets gardens and inhabitants… In short an entire life to walk through, an indoor hike. Fiction or reality? Let yourself go for a guided listening!

Work, common space
In Tarbes, Ici Même invited themselves in activity working places, for temporarily occupation and public situations to share. Many time spent on site built sound points of views which could be the beginning of a soudscapes collection to be continued. Listening and going slowly, practicing our sound art next to workers, working at sight builds an unexpected discrepancy of use, offering new perspectives.

Machines and voices

Perceive space and its sound textures, its relieves and temporalities / negociate with its occupiers, the first comer as the line management / to be admitted / measure distance and empathy, question of balance / negociate, respect, bite the limits / listen to the story and record / pick up sound and broadcast it in « real » sound space, as close as possible to audience-listeners ears / slide from microphone to speaker, mute, turn present sound up / mix up between background and foreground / take time to tell stories in these places dedicated to productivity (productivity only?)
